Bev Paulson Bev Paulson, an expert on methods of searching for ancestors in the United States and Sweden, has regularly taught genealogy classes. She has chaired the annual Scandinavian Hjemkomst Festival since 1986. Bev is a charter member of the Heritage Education Commission, and in 1993 was named YWCA Woman of the Year for her volunteerism. She has been a Commission member since 1978.
Jane Skjei Jane has been a Commission member since 1992.
Victor Knell Victor Knell works at the USDA, Bioscience Research Laboratory on the campus of North Dakota State University. He is a board member of the Germans from Russia Heritage Society, a past president of the Red River Chapter, Germans from Russia Heritage Society. He has been the editor of the Chapter's quarterly newsletter for 17 years. He is also a Village Coordinator for two ancestral villages in Russia. Village coordinators gather together all birth, marriage, death records, pictures, history and anything else available from these villages in Russia where Germans settled.This data can be used by people researching families from the German ancestral villages in Russia. He has published three family histories and genealogies. He has manned an information booth at the Family History Workshop since 1980 and has done several sessions on researching the Germans from Russia. He has been a Commission member since 1996.
