| Pam Furstenau | | Pam is the newest member to the Commission and was appointed in August of
2008.
She volunteers in the Genealogy Center at the Scandinavian Hjemkomst
Festival in Moorhead
and the Icelandic Heritage Festival (August the Deuce) in Mountain, ND.
In addition, she is a RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) Volunteer
for Pembina County and
has published two large family history books on her family and several
smaller volumes for others.
She was born and raised in Pembina County and volunteers her time with many
genealogy
and historical projects there. As a volunteer, she maintains and coordinates
the free
US GenWeb Website for Pembina County along with several other genealogy
websites for the area.
